Capacity Building
OJADACT builds the skills of journalists to conduct investigative research and policy analysis and share the findings in the form of news reports and flagship thematic journals through organized workshops, meetings and exchange visits. The drug abuse problem is one of the toughest issues currently facing governments around the world.
Involving the vulnerable youths in drug abuse and crime campaigns
OJADACT involves youths, particularly the drug users in development activities through internship programs in collaboration with organizations working on drug abuse and crime for a purpose of improving the skills on the impact of drug abuse to the national development, thus leading to community total behavior change through a solution led approach. This is done via national campaigns to youths against drug abuse.
Community Knowledge Outreach
In collaboration with other development partners, OJADACT establish awareness creation to diverse members of the community by the use of ICT to enhance information access, content creation and skills development among communities-both rural and urban.
